Announcement - November 24, 2020
To Our Clients, Colleagues and Community:
We have been continuing to closely monitor the health crisis surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. As of November 20, 2020, the State of Illinois issued Tier 3 Resurgence Mitigations to help suppress the spread of virus, while Phase 4 operational guidance remains in effect. (More information can be found at the following website: https://coronavirus.illinois.gov/s/restore-illinois-mitigation-plan). Although the mitigation efforts do not directly reference law offices, our firm always has as its highest priority the protection of the health and safety of our clients, colleagues and community. Therefore, our office will continue to implement “social distancing” protocols and limit in-person appointments to only necessary meetings. All other matters shall be conducted by mail, email, telephone calls or video conference (e.g., Zoom).
Local Courts have implemented strict guidelines that affect our litigation clients. Please note that each County has addressed the crisis differently, but most Counties have greatly reduced or completely ended in-person court calls. Most hearings, conferences and even trials are being conducted remotely via video conference. Please contact our office for any updates on how new restrictions may affect your case.
Regardless of the issues presented by COVID-19, our firm is dedicated to servicing our clients and we remain fully open. When you call our office, you will be directed to our attorneys regardless of their physical location. Please dial our main number (630) 897-8840 and our legal assistant will direct you to the appropriate attorney.
Please contact our office with any questions or concerns. We remain optimistic and will continue to provide excellent legal services throughout this crisis.
